Meet Jocelyn Stachowske

Jocelyn’s ties to New England can be traced back as early as the Mayflower, with ties to Portsmouth, and later several towns in Strafford County. From the time she was admitted to practice, and through the present, she has honored those ties by maintaining a practice that primarily serves Strafford and Rockingham Counties.

For over a decade, Jocelyn practiced Family Law at a large seacoast firm. After having children, she strived for a better work/life balance and decided to open a practice that was tailored to the needs of her family, along with those of the firm’s employees. In January 2017, the Law Office of Jocelyn Stachowske was born. The goal when she opened was to provide a customized approach to the needs of each client. With a background in social work, it was important that each client felt heard during all stages of their legal matter, and that each client could connect not only with her, but each support staff member.

In June 2020, the Law Office of Jocelyn Stachowske became Stachowske Law, PLLC, and Jocelyn’s spouse joined the practice as a partner and co-owner. Together, Jocelyn and Matt have maintained a grassroots, holistic, and boutique approach to each case. Rather than getting lost in the shuffle, Jocelyn tailors the approach of each case to the needs of each individual client. She recognizes that family cases are stressful emotionally, financially, and sometimes even morally. She hopes that you feel comfortable enough to hand that stress over, and trust that she will guide you to the best possible resolution.

In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys spending time outside with her family and two bulldogs, who you will often find at the office.
